German based ASMA tuning house has developed this unique looking Porsche Cayenne. Named "The Giant" and rolling on 22-inch wheels, this extreme wide body kit is all show, no go. Unfortunately, nothing has been done to the engine and the weird styling has looks only a mother could love.

Audi just release a photo announcing Wolfgang Egger as the new Head of Audi Brand Design. The interesting part is in the background. Is this blurry image possibly the new facelifted TT? The nose and boser style headlights look oddly familiar. It is believed that Audi will unveil it in March 2012 in Geneva.

Schmidt Revolution has released an upgrade tuning package for the MkV Golf GTI. The stock 200HP is bumped to 275HP with a re-flashed ECU, air intake, and sport exhaust. Handling is modified with a sports suspension kit from AP and riding on 19-inch wheels. The exterior is very subtle with OEM upgrades including an R32 lower rear and center exhaust.

VW Group design chief Walter de Silva has recruited Audi's chief designer Stefan Sielaff to head up the interior design for Volkswagen. Sielaff was responsible for most of Audis current stying including the signature LED's and single frame grill. This new direction for him with interiors sounds promising. He will assume the new position in February 2012.

The latest rumor is that Audi will only offer a seven-speed DSG (S-tronic) transmission and no manual option for 2014. They are even considering to remove the now iconic colored side-blade behind the doors. Also, the V10 could be no longer and replaced with a turbo V8.

Here is the first interior photo of the next generation Boxster. It clearly shows a more Panamera feel and new 911 style cabin. Along with the updated look, Porsche has also raised the quality level with softer leathers and higher grade metals and plastics.
The new Boxster will debut in March at the Geneva Motor Show.

Audi has announced that they will produce a high performance limited-edition version (only 333 units) of the A1. Equipped with Quattro Haldex AWD setup, 2.0L TFSI from the S3 producing 252hp, 18-inch wheels, and six-speed manual. 0-60 mph time is said to be 5.7 seconds with a top speed of 152 mph.
The exterior stying is based on the A1 clubsport quattro from Wörthersee. Inside, RS style bits include a new instrument panel, aluminum pedals, bolstered buckets seats and black leather with red contrast stitching.
This car is essentially the S1 without the badge. It will go on sale later next year in Europe (sorry no U.S.)

London based Eterniti continues its plan for the worlds first Super-SUV. This model named the Hemera not only has a extremely modified body kit, but the 4.8L engine has been tuned to 600HP with a 0-100km/h of 4.5 seconds and top speed of 290km/h. The styling is not 100% complete yet, as they plan to include front LED's, splitters, and 23 inch rims. The final version will be unveiled at the Beijing Motor Show next April 2012. Pricing is said to be around €178,000 (£150,000/ $233,000).

With the 2012 Detroit Auto Show just weeks away, Volkswagen announced they will reveal a new all electric car study concept not based on any current production model. Expect details to follow soon.
They will also debut the new Jetta Hybrid in full production model. Powered by a 1.4L turbocharged engine connected to an electric motor. VW said this Jetta Hybrid is "meant to directly challenge the Toyota Prius". Expect to see it in showrooms around November 2012.

Russian tuner TOPCAR has released a Carbon Edition version of their Vantage 2 body kit for the Porsche Cayenne.
It features carbon fiber front and rear spoilers, hood, and side skirts, with the rest of the body painted in carbon gray. The interior is full of carbon fiber trims from the steering wheel, dashboard, levers to the door panels with Alcantara leather.
With a lowered suspension, ADV1 wheels, Brembo brakes, reprogrammed ECU, sport exhausts and air filters; it's more than just looks.
TOPCAR will showcase the "Carbon Edition" kit next week in Moscow.

2012 Techart Porsche 911 Individualisation Program

Techart will introduce an individualisation program for the new 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera and Carrera S.
The kit will include a set of 20-inch or 21 inch five-spoke Formula light alloy wheels, custom color painted callipers, and offer an all leather interior complete with color choice stitching. No details on the engine tuning have been released at this time.
It will make its debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.

Volkswagen is planning a more sporty three-door version of the Cross Coupé concept to compete against the Range Rover Evoque by 2014. VW R&D boss Ulrich Hackenberg said “Customers are showing that they like SUVs with a sporty, muscular image, and especially because of the high seating position.”

Today at the Bologna Motor Show in an interview, Walter de'Silva (Design Chief with the Volkswagen Group) said "We will definitely launch a sportier crossover in between the Q7 and Q5,". The Q6 will be based on the Q5 with a lower sloping roof line and more aggressive styling.
He also added that Audi is considering a smaller sports crossover, likely to be named Q4 to compete against BMW's upcoming X4 that's likely to debut in 2014.

Audi S8 "Superior Grey Edition" tuned by Anderson Germany

This is the latest from Anderson Germany for the new Audi S8. With a modified exterior including various carbon fiber parts and matte paint finish it is called the Superior Grey Edition. The interior is Alcantara with carbon fiber pieces.
The V10 is bumped to 508hp over the 450 stock hp. A special exhaust system was developed to give the V10 S8 a brutal aggressive sound.

These are the first spy photos of the new GT3 (991). The grainy pictures were taken from far away on a private test track. With the fixed rear wing, center exhaust, and agressive front bumper it's clear to see the new GT3. The first picture is what was caught out testing in public, with only the center exhaust to give away it's not a normal 911. no word on details, but it is expected to hit the market in early 2013.
