As you may know already, Audi revealed the A1 e-Tron Concept in March at the Geneva Motor Show and honestly to tell you we expected to see this car on the streets but it appears that the German manufacturer has other plans, according to Audi CEO Rupert Stadler.
Apparently, we will not see a pure electric version of the A1 due to the fact that the car is built on the Polo platform. But there are some good news after all: the small hatchback will receive auto start/stop function as well as brake energy regeneration system. Regarding the Audi S1, Rupert Stadler confirmed the car for the Paris Motor Show in September. And the good news continue as the A1 range will expand with a four-door sportback version and with a convertible model.
