The latest from Volkswagen is the new R-Line Passat. Available for both the sedan and avant models are the ‘Comfortline’ and ‘Highline’ versions.

Stying upgrades include a new front bumper with fog lights, side skirts with chrome accent, rear bumper and diffuser, hatch or trunk spoiler and silver roof rails for the avant. Unfortunately, this R-Line appears to be all show and no go as it has no power improvements. However, the suspension was tightened and lowered 15mm (just over half-inch), and wheels are 17" with optional 18". The interior comes with two-toned sport seats, silver trim along the dash, flat-bottom steering wheel, sport pedal, and R-Line door sills.

The Comfortline model which does not include the exterior styling is priced at €30,225, while the Highline version is the full package priced at €31,215 (an extra €990).

These are the latest renderings showcasing the new upcoming Q2. Built on the A1 chassis, it will feature a higher ride height, bigger wheels, and sporty styling. The 3-door model will be a true four-seater and is set to rival the Mini Countryman and Nissan Juke.
