Hofele-Design is offering its new Royal GT 470 for the new Touareg. The upgrade package is comprehensive and includes modifications to the exterior, interior as well as the chassis and the available V6 diesel.

The tuning shop’s aero kit comprises of a new front apron with integrated LEDs on both corners, matching wheel arch extensions, side skirts and a rear apron housing a diffuser and a choice of two different sets of exhaust tail pipe designs. A hood scoop, Hofele-Design’s bespoke front grille and 20- or 22-inch alloy wheels complete the changes.



The SUV’s interior also gets some attention with new two-tone black and white leather upholstery for the seats, door panels and arm rests, plus aluminum trim accents.

Underneath the sheetmetal, the Touareg II Royal GT 470 gains an electronic lowering module for the air suspension that allows the driver to drop the ride height by up to 40mm at speeds of up to 80km/h [50 mph].

For the Touareg V6 3.0 TDI, Hofele-Design offers a performance kit that lifts output from 240HP and 500Nm to 275HP and 580Nm of peak torque. This model can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h (62 mph) in 6.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 229 km/h (142 mph).
