Porsche has confirmed that the 918 Spyder will debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show. A Formula 1 inspired 4.6L V8 engine will be the heart of this Porsche supercar. The engine is based on the race bred V-8 originally developed for the RS Spyder LMP2 race car. Producing 550 horsepower from the V8 and 230 from the two electric motors will have a combined total of 730 horses.

Pricing is expted to be around $845,000 (U.S.)
