Now that Audi officially unveiled the R8 GT, we knew it was just a matter of time until someone decided to render a Spyder version of the lighter and more powerful sportscar. In perfect time, a Dutch magazine came up with an idea for the future R8 GT Spyder. This rendering, in a luscious chocolate brown no less, displays a spectacular vehicle with the freedom of the wind blowing through your hair. Cheesy, yes. Tempting as hell, oh yeah.

The R8 GT is powered by a 5.2 FSI V10 that has been tricked out to deliver a total of 560 HP and 540 Nm (398.28 lb-ft) at 6,500 rpm. The result is a sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds, from 0 to 124 mph in 10.6 seconds, and a top speed of 198.8 mph.
