According to the latest reports, it appears that the Audi TT-RS, known as the most powerful version of the popular car, will receive a 7-speed dual-clutch S-tronic gearbox, starting this autumn!

This news was announced at the Leipzig Auto Show, where Audi unveiled its facelifted TT Coupe and Cabrio. Regarding the TT-RS, together with the new S-tronic gearbox, the model will also receive launch control and you know what this means: the car will be faster and will be capable to spring from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 4.6 seconds (the 0-100 km/h time for the TT-RS fitted with a manual gearbox). For those who don’t know, the TT-RS carries a 2.5-liter 5-cylinder engine capable to deliver 340 hp and an impressive 450 Nm of torque.
