Spy shots have recently surfaced of the new Audi A3 Cabriolet. Due for a spring 2014 launch date, this cabriolet will be on the MQB platform. It will be based on the A3 sedan, unlike being based on the hatchback like previously. Expect more fuel efficiency and larger cargo/interior.

The first “RS Plus” edition from Audi was the TTRS Plus, then came the R8 V10 Plus. Now it has been announced that an RS6 Plus is on the way. The RS6 Plus will add around 50 horsepower bring the number to just over 600bhp, lighter in overall weight, and better suspension. This will be the general format for all future “RS Plus” models from Audi. They will have more power, improved suspension, and lighter materials (carbon fiber).

Rumor has it that this new edition from Audi is in response to Mercedes AMG S-Model lineup.

VW has officially released 4motion for the new Golf. Currently only available on the TDI, it has an updated Haldex with even faster reaction to conditions. Sending power to either front, rear, or percentage split it is one of the most modern and efficient AWD systems in the world.

With this new and improved all-wheel drive system, lighter chassis, and nimble handling; great things are in store for performance VW's of the very near future.
