2013 Porsche Cajun latest intel

Porsche's all new 2-door SUV based on the Audi Q5 is scheduled to reach production in spring 2013. While the exterior is yet to be known, both the the headlights and taillights will have a HID & LED design. The interior will have a typical Porsche sports car-like feel with the driving position, large bolstered seats, dashboard and intrument cluster from the new Boxster, and slightly raised center console of the new 911 and Panamera.

The engines will be as followed with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. (No word on a manual option yet)

• 2.0 TFSI, 240bhp/258lb ft
• 3.0 TFSI V6, 292bhp/295lb ft
• 2.0 TDI, 190bhp/258lb ft
• 3.0 TDI V6, 265bhp/369lb ft

There is also talk of a Turbo S being developed with a twin-turbo 3.0 V6 producing 350bhp. Also, a Hybrid with a 211bhp four-cylinder turbo matted to a 47bhp electric-motor for a total of 258bhp.

The Cajun will be built in the new addition of the Leipzig plant.
