Porsche 911 GT2 RS Configurator Launched

Porsche has launched a new, online configurator for the Porsche 911 GT2 RS. The car will be sold with several available options when it is launched on the market beginning in September.

Check it out right here

The car will be sold in four colors, including Guards Red, GT Silver Metallic, Black, and Carrara White (seen here). It rides standard on center locking 19-inch wheels custom designed for this model. Wheels can be sold in their standard metallic color, or blacked out. Other exterior options include a carbon front fender, a gradient-tint windscreen, headlamp cleaners, lightweight headlights, and clear glass tail light lenses.

All seats are sold in a mix of Alcantara and leather, and are available in three varieties: lightweight bucket, sports bucket, or adaptive sport seats. The interior can be fitted with leather, and does not have to be bi-color red and black. All black may also be selected. Other upgrades include dimming interior and exterior mirrors, rain sensing wipers, lightweight battery, six-point passenger-side seat belt, integrated garage door opener, upgraded audio equipment, and a carbon fiber trim.

Removing the automatic climate control or the Club sports package, in a bid to save weight, will also cost more money. The Club kit includes a rear roll cage, fire extinguisher, master battery switch, and six-point driver-side racing harness.
