In a recent interview with quattro GmbH product boss Stefan Reil, he revealed that the Audi quattro Concept will not make it into production. Due mostly to cost of the light weight materials (carbon fiber/aluminum) needed to build the car. If it was built, the price would reach R8 territory and Audi doesn't believe they can sell enough for that range.
