2014 Volkswagen e-Golf Electric Previewed

Volkswagen will show off the new e-Golf soon in Geneva, but some information has been shown early. With it's subtle styling and slight resemblance of XL1 front bumper it's obvious an electric car. The front-wheel drive e-Golf comes with 115hp, has a top speed of 84mph, and goes 0-62mph in 11.8 seconds. Most important is the drive range, which can travel an impressive 109 miles on a single charge. The lithium ion battery is positioned under the rear seats to keep cargo space a maximum. Charging only takes 20 minutes with the quick charging system, and 5 hours using a household wall socket.
