As you may know already, back in December when it launched the new A8, Audi offered only two engines: a 4.2 FSI with 273 kW (372 hp) and a 4.2 TDI, packing 258 kW (350 hp).

For those folks who want to buy the new Audi A8 we have great news as the German manufacturer will introduce two new engines in the A8 range. First of all, Audi will introduce the popular 3.0 TDI engine capable to deliver 184 kW (250 hp) and 550 Nm of torque. This engine is expected to deliver a fuel consumption of just 6.6 l/100 km and just 174 grams of CO2 per kilometre. Besides this engine, the new A8 will also receive a 3.0 TFSI V6 engine capable to deliver 290 hp and 420 Nm of torque. Regarding the fuel consumption, the car is expected to deliver an everage of 9.1 l/km and 213 grams of CO2 per kilometre.
