While we still await the arrival of the next 911. Porsche has been working hard on the arrival of the next GT3. This model seems to be one or two years away from production, but the first information on this hardcore model that will be made for the track as well was leaked recently.

The Porsche 991 GT3 comes with a number of new special things. First, the model will be a lot lighter and go back to the past thinking. Very important news is that the traditional manual speed gearbox will now be replaced by a PDK-S gearbox. Purists will be shocked just because Porsche has always been known for keeping the manual gearbox, and it's a pleasure to drive. The second important news about the GT3 is the placement of the six-cylinder. This will shift more toward the center for better balance. RennList says that this makes it even more a mid-engine Porsche. Finally, the new GT3 will have 480 horsepower, an increase of 30 horsepower stronger than the current 997 GT3 RS MkII and 45 horsepower stronger than the current 997 GT3.
