Sportec has come up with yet another overpowered package for the Porsche 911, this time they’ve extracted a massive 858 hp out of the car’s 3.6 liter flat-six engine. But it’s not all about power, as the tuner has specially lightened the car by 50 kilograms, to arrive at a great power-to-weight ratio of 655 bhp per ton.
As a result, this 911 is become a serious performer. 0-62mph (100kmh) time is unchanged at 3.0 seconds, but the car has become faster reaching 300 km/h (186 mph) by 0.9 seconds, and the actual top speed is said to be in the neighborhood of 236mph.
Sportec SPR1R also features a driver adjustable traction control system, managed via a touch screen mounted in the centre console. this unit also a vehicle data logger and lap timer, which also allows owners to monitor key engine data in real time.
As for the styling, SPR1R comes with lightweight 20 inch forged alloy wheels and a carbon fibre rear wing, while the interior is covered in leather and alcantara.
The car’s debut is set for next Salon Privé show in London.
