2011 Volkswagen CrossTouran Unveiled

The latest member of VW’s Cross family is the CrossTouran which will join CrossPolo and CrossGolf. This car is the sportier, more dynamic version of the 2011 Touran MPV and features funkier styling, higher ride height and bigger wheels. The CrossTouran can still take care of your family with its spacious interior but it’s also lifestyley and cool.

VW CrossTouran exclusive features over the standard model include new rear-end design and two-part taillight clusters, 20 millimetres more ground clearance, 215 tyres at the front and 235s at the back, both on 17-inch alloy wheels, black grained protective strips on the doors and bumpers and flared wheel arches.

Other equipments of the car include a roof rack in matt aluminium, decorative trim in stainless steel look, electric windows front and rear, extra comfortable seats in the front with height adjustment and lumbar support, leather steering wheel plus leather trim on gearlever knob and handbrake and a special seat cover pattern.

CrossTouran is available with the same diesel and petrol engines ranging in power from 77 kW to 125 kW (105 to 170 PS), and also can be had with the particularly efficient and environmentally friendly ‘EcoFuel’ natural gas engine. This engine averages 4.8 liter per 100 Km when running on Gas and emits 33 grams of CO2 per every Km.

Pricing for 2011 VW CrossTouran starts from €27,700.
