Shot through the window of an undisclosed Audi test facility, our spy photographer has just sent us the first glimpse of the all-new Audi Q3. Obviously, this is a very early prototype, so the "brown bag" style camo reveals hardly any details. However, the overall silhouette does appear to resemble 2009's "Cross Coupe" concept. We're guessing Audi's engineers were either working feverishly into the wee hours of the night or someone forgot to turn out the lights - either way this is certainly a unique find.
Considering these are the first photos of any incarnation of the Audi Q3, details are still very scarce. Set to be built at the SEAT's Spanish Martorell plant, we hear the Q3 may share the same platform as the VW Tiguan or Audi A3, with powerplants most likely mirroring that of the A3. Final design should show a strong resemblance to the Cross Coupe concept (shown below), as the A1 followed the Metroproject concept and A7 the Sportback concept.
