Here are the latest renderings for the next generation of Porsche Boxster. Expected to debut in the end of next year as a 2012 model. According to rumors, the car will take inspiration from the 918 Spyder. The front diffuser is said to be directly borrowed, and the rear outlets seem to have moved to the side in order to accommodate a diffuser. The expectation is that the Boxster will grow slightly in length.
The interior will be in the same style as the Panamera and the Cayenne are made only as functional rather than filled with buttons. A large touch screen gets a prominent place in the dashboard.
Under the hood will be a more efficient 6-cylinder boxer 2.9 and 3.4 engine producing 255 hp and 315 hp. There is also talk of a 4-cylinder turbo engine as the top range producing 360 hp that will be reserved for the smallest of the sporting Porsche expected in 2013/2014.
